JOB TITLE: DIRECTOR

DESCRIPTION

Direct a Love Island and Big Brother style unscripted series with strong visual storytelling and real time coverage. You lead the field vision across house life, tasks, challenges, ceremonies, and key reveal beats, while collaborating tightly with Story and Production to capture emotion, maintain continuity, and keep coverage efficient.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Lead the visual approach and coverage strategy for house life, tasks, challenges, ceremonies, and interviews

2. Direct multi camera and multi unit execution with camera, audio, and field producers to capture story in real time

3. Collaborate with EPs and Story on beat priorities: alliances, romance, conflict, strategy, confessionals, reveals

4. Work with DP and tech teams on camera placement, movement, lighting standards, and continuity

5. Maintain pace and control during live style events: nominations, evictions, recouplings, twist reveals, house meetings

6. Ensure strong confessionals: setup, tone, emotional clarity, and performance guidance

7. Make rapid creative calls to protect story while staying within schedule and safety rules

8. Partner with Post on notes, selects direction, pickups, and episode consistency

9. Uphold contestant welfare, safety, and confidentiality on set

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Proven experience directing unscripted or reality series

2. Strong leadership and communication on set

3. Strong grasp of multi camera or multi unit field workflows

4. Ability to work under pressure and deliver consistent coverage

5. Strong taste for emotion, pacing, and visual storytelling
