JOB DESCRIPTION: ONLINE EDITOR

DESCRIPTION: Manage the final stage of post-production, ensuring all content meets creative, technical, and broadcast standards. Responsible for conforming picture-locked edits, managing finishing workflows, and delivering polished, broadcast-ready content.

PROJECT: Full-time/Inhouse

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conform offline edits using high-resolution media and ensure accuracy for preview
2. Perform final picture edits, including trims, transitions, and technical adjustments
3. Integrate color correction, visual effects, graphics, and final audio mixes
4. Ensure all content meets broadcast, network, and streaming delivery specifications
5. Manage finishing workflows and coordinate with colorists, sound mixers, and VFX teams
6. Conduct quality control checks including audio levels, color space, aspect ratios, and legal requirements
7. Troubleshoot technical issues related to media, codecs, and delivery formats
8. Prepare and deliver final masters and versions for broadcast, streaming, and archival use
9. Maintain organized project files and version control

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as an Online Editor in television, film, or digital media
2. Advanced proficiency in editing and finishing software such as Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar
3. Strong understanding of post-production workflows, codecs, and delivery standards
4. Experience working with broadcast, cable, or streaming platform specifications
5. Excellent attention to detail and technical accuracy
6. Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple deliverables
