JOB TITLE: LOCATION MANAGER

DESCRIPTION: Secure and manage locations for a Love Island or Big Brother–style unscripted series, including the main house and recurring challenge or date sites, overseeing permits, access, basecamp planning, community relations, and site restoration while ensuring safety, discretion, and operational efficiency.

PROJECT: Project Banwa

Key Responsibilities:

1. Scout and secure primary house and recurring challenge/date locations.
2. Obtain permits, agreements, and clearances with full documentation.
3. Negotiate location fees and manage location budgets
4. Liaise with property owners, government agencies, and community stakeholders
5. Plan access, parking, basecamp, power, holding areas, and crowd control.
6. Coordinate with Art, Challenges, Safety, Security, and Production on builds, resets, and protection zones.
7. Supervise location staff and production assistants assigned to locations
8. Ensure daily readiness, including cleanliness, signage, neighbor relations, and noise control.
9. Address and resolve location-related issues promptly during production
10. Oversee restoration and final sign-off of locations.
11. Maintain comprehensive location binder with maps, contacts, permits, contracts, and incident logs.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience in location management for television or film.
2. Expertise in permitting and local regulations.
3. Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
4. Highly organized and adaptable to long hours and changing schedules.
5. Able to manage multiple locations simultaneously.
