Job Description:
ABOUT US:
GOAT Creative Studios is a format first and franchise production company that develops original shows and produces international formats for the Philippine and global market. We focus on reality, unscripted entertainment, and storytelling that is built to travel and last.
Founded by Emmy award winning producer Michael Carandang together with lead investor and strategic partner Jon Sterling, GOAT Creative Studios Limited is registered internationally with its main office in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
Role Overview:
You will be the production lead for GOAT, overseeing all physical and post production from development through delivery across the slate. You sit at the center of the machine: turning creative ideas into concrete schedules, budgets, teams, and finished episodes that meet global standards.
You will manage the Production Manager, Post Production Manager, and Equipment and Tech Lead, and you work directly with the CEO on strategy, resourcing, and delivery. As GOAT scales, this role is designed to evolve into a future COO role focused on operations and execution across the company.
What You Will Do
- Own the master production calendar and capacity planning across all shows in the annual slate.
- Oversee budgets, cost tracking, and financial visibility for production and post, in partnership with finance and HR and Admin.
- Manage and mentor the Production Manager, Post Production Manager, and Equipment and Tech Lead, aligning their work to GOAT systems and standards.
- Approve show level production plans, schedules, and workflows before greenlight.
- Set and enforce standards for call sheets, reporting, wrap reports, post schedules, and delivery checklists.
- Lead risk assessment and contingency planning for major shows, including weather, cast, location, and technical risks.
- Build and maintain a trusted network of line producers, coordinators, field crews, post vendors, and specialists for scaling up and down.
- Work closely with directors, showrunners, and creative leads to protect both creative intent and operational reality.
- Ensure all series deliverables meet technical specs and network or platform requirements.
- Document and improve production and post systems after every season, turning learnings into processes.
Who You Are
- 10 plus years in television or unscripted production, with senior level experience running series or as a line producer or production head.
- Deep understanding of both physical production and post production timelines, workflows, and bottlenecks.
- Strong financial and operational instincts: comfortable with budgets, schedules, and scenario planning.
- Calm and solutions focused under pressure, especially during peak shoot weeks and delivery windows.
- Natural leader and coach who can grow junior talent into reliable production leaders.
- Clear and honest communicator who can speak the language of creatives, crew, vendors, and executives.
- Excited by the idea of building a studio from the ground up and growing into a future COO type role as GOAT scales.
