JOB TITLE: OFFLINE EDITOR

DESCRIPTION: Assemble and shape content during the offline editing phase of production. Responsible for constructing scripted and unscripted stories, pacing, and structure using low-resolution media, working closely with producers, directors, and creative teams to develop a compelling edit prior to online finishing.

PROJECT: Full-time/ Inhouse

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assemble rough cuts, fine cuts, and picture-locked edits from raw footage
2. Shape story, pacing, tone, and scripted or unscripted structure in collaboration with producers and directors
3. Sync, organize, and manage media, sequences, and project files
4. Apply temporary sound, music, graphics, and visual effects for preview purposes
5. Participate in edit reviews and incorporate creative feedback and revisions
6. Maintain organized project workflows and version control
7. Prepare sequences for handoff to online editing, color, sound, and finishing teams
8. Ensure editorial continuity and adherence to creative and technical standards

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as an Offline Editor in film, television, or digital content
2. Strong storytelling instincts and editorial judgment
3. Proficiency in editing software such as Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar
4. Solid understanding of post-production workflows and file management
5. Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
6. Strong communication and collaboration skills
